Responsibilities:
- Cashier Reconciliation: Reconcile cashier cash-ups and transaction slips from the previous day.
- Drop Safe Transactions: Perform reconciliation of drop safe transactions against cashier drops to ensure accuracy.
- Goods Receiving: Maintain the Goods Receiving Book by capturing invoice and credit note numbers according to the receiving policy.
- Filing: Keep account holder filing up to date and organized.
- E-Fuel Payments: Process e-fuel payments efficiently.
- Stock Counting: Conduct regular stock counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Customer Assistance: Assist cashiers with voids and address customer queries promptly.
- Office Supply Inventory: Maintain office supply inventory and ensure availability of necessary items.
Skills:
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain order.
- Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently.
- Independence: Ability to work unsupervised, demonstrating maturity and honesty, especially when working alone one weekend per month, including cash office responsibilities.
- Customer Interaction: Ability to work with customers, providing exceptional service.
- Transportation: Must have own transport, as standby is required for on-duty weekends.
- Communication Skills: Strong telephone and conversational skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer use, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans.
- Office Management: Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work at least one weekend per month.
Qualifications:
- Education: Matric Certificate.
- Software: Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have one to three (1-3) years of experience in a similar role.
