About the Role
As a Shop Assistant at Flavour Centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customers receive excellent service and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience. You will be responsible for supporting daily store operations, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This role requires someone who is reliable, attentive to detail, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently
Providing accurate information about products and services offered in the store
Handling sales transactions using the point-of-sale system
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop floor at all times
Restocking shelves and ensuring products are properly displayed
Monitoring inventory levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies
Supporting promotional activities and in-store displays
Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed
Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a calm and helpful manner
Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve store targets and maintain high standards
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Junior Secondary (JS) qualification or equivalent
Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
Must be fluent in both English and Setswana
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
Previous retail experience will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required

Good verbal communication skills in both English and Setswana
