Job Title: Service Consultant

Locations: Upington, Northern Cape, ZA | Hermanus, Western Cape, ZA | Barkley West, Northern Cape, ZA

Purpose Statement:
To improve the lives of our clients through outstanding service, meeting and exceeding their needs using the Global One product offering, and supporting them to “Bank Better and Live Better.”

Experience:

• Minimum:
• 3 to 6 months of prior client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• Alternatively, candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification will be considered, even without prior experience.
• Ideal:
• Over 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• Demonstrated track record in sales and client-facing roles.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
• Ideal or Preferred:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar.
• Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge:

• Minimum:
• Basic calculations.
• Retail/consumer service environment.
• Ideal:
• Capitec Bank Products.
• Internal business processes and procedures.
• Organizational Policies, including Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills:

• Communication Skills.
• Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills.
• Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Conditions of Employment:

• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
