Qualifications and Experience :

• Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or equivalent
• A valid Code driver’s license with PDP
• Previous Mining experience will be advantageous
• Must be medically fit

Skills and personal attributes :

• At least 2 years’ experience as a driver preferably in Mining environment
• 5 years’ experience driving on the public road
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read and write.

Responsibilities (to mention a few) :

• Drive safely along designated route
• Obey traffic laws, safety procedures and transit regulations
• Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
• Prevent or stop unruly behaviour from passengers
• Follow a specific work schedule while on duty
• Communicate with passengers and management regarding delays or any issues along a route.
