As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for loading, lifting, and moving articles on pallets within or outside the company’s premises. Your duties will also include loading trucks for client dispatch.

Responsibilities:

• Control the offloading of goods from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate forklift equipment to load, lift, and move articles on pallets, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Load trucks for client dispatch, ensuring that goods are secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding the safe operation of forklift equipment and the handling of goods.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate the movement of goods and optimize efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of goods loaded and unloaded, ensuring proper documentation for inventory management purposes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the FMCG industry
• Valid forklift license or willingness to be re-examined
• Code 10 license with PDP
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime
• Traceable references
