The Learner Internal: Learnership Programme at ABSA is designed to empower individuals by providing them with the skills and qualifications needed for a successful career. This one-year programme is funded by ABSA and facilitated internally, ensuring that participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management:
- Manage all aspects of the Learnership programme, including learners, training, payroll of stipends, and overall administration.
- Coordinate with the appointed Training Provider to manage both the theoretical knowledge and required experiential learning components.
Learner Development:
- Participate in a structured one-year Learnership programme.
- Achieve a South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) registered qualification by the end of the programme.
Training Coordination:
- Work closely with the Training Provider to ensure the delivery of both theoretical and practical components.
- Monitor progress and provide support to learners throughout the programme.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Educational Qualifications:
- South African citizenship or valid work permit.
- Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
