Key Responsibilities:
- Execute cash and related transactions, including balancing the cash float, dispensing and receiving physical cash, and processing cheques.
- Adhere to policies to prevent fraud, report suspicious activities, and refer transactions exceeding limits for authorization.
- Provide advice to customers on transaction processes, resolve inquiries, and explain bank procedures and security requirements.
- Reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each day, prepare reconciliation reports, and ensure proper authorization of transactions.
- Identify and act on sales leads, contributing to branch sales targets.
- Ensure compliance with risk management procedures, including opening and closing the branch safe, conducting cash counts, and reporting suspicious transactions.
- Maintain a professional image, adhere to corporate wear policy, and educate customers on alternative ways of transacting.
Education:
Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC) in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required)
