We are searching for people between the ages of 18 and 25 who are serious about their careers and growth and who are looking for possibilities to add work experience to their educational background in the following fields: sales or marketing and electrical. Interested people from the relevant local communities are encouraged to apply.

It is crucial to remember that the program is targeted at African Americans, Indians, and people of color (AIC).

The program has a 12-month duration.

Candidates with Grade 12 are welcome to apply, but we would prefer to speak with those who have the tertiary degrees listed below.

Application deadline is March 31, 2023. Please consider your application unsuccessful if you don’t hear anything within two weeks of the application deadline.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • age range: 18 to 28 years.
  • Currently unemployed, not enrolled in full-time study
  • Finished high school and possess the necessary tertiary education
  • zero criminal history
  • Should NOT have taken part in YES before
  • have the dedication to complete the 12-month work program (1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024)
  • Procedure of Verification and Interview

Candidates are required in the following focus areas:

Finance (Limited only to Durban Prospecton area)

  • BCom Degree in Financial Management / Cost and Management Accounting
  • Debtors /Creditors – Degree Debtors/Creditors Management 

Commercial/Tenders (Limited only to Durban Prospecton area)

  • Diploma /Degree /LLB Law Management  

Sales 

  • National Degree / Diploma in Retail Management / Business Management / Supply Chain Management (you will be in the field of buying, negotiating, promotions and stock planning. Strong financial acumen essential.)
  • Sales relevant

Warehouse / Logistics

  • National Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Freight Logistics Management
  • Project Management or related qualification

Electrical

  • National Diploma in Electrical /Electrical Engineering
  • National Diploma in Alternative energy /low voltage /Solar

Human Resources (Limited only to Durban Prospecton area)

  • HR Diploma /Degree Human Resources Management
