X40 Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanics – Multiple Locations (Closing: 12 January 2024)
Applications are invited for the position of Apprentice Heavy Equipment Mechanics from qualified and interested candidates. Permanent team members meeting the requirements will be given priority, followed by external applicants.

The intent is to appoint a candidate whose transfer/promotion will contribute to representivity, aligning with numerical targets in the Employment Equity Plan.
Requirements:
- N2 with four subjects, including relevant trade theory (Mathematics, Engineering Science, Diesel Trade Theory, Engineering Drawing, or Industrial Electronics). OR
- National Vocational Certificate (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design) with seven subjects in Automotive. OR
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (Core), Physical Science, Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD), and Mechanical Technology.
- Good physical health due to the strenuous nature of the work; candidates should be prepared for a medical examination and relevant tests.
- Valid Code EB (08) driver’s license.
- Applicants must reside within a 50km radius from the Bell Customer Service Centre.
Added Advantages:
- Working experience in the engineering industry.
- Completion of basic hand skills training.
- Possession of a valid passport.
