FlySafair, operating under Safair Operations, is currently seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our team at OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng, Kempton Park.

Reporting to the Manager: Base Airport, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to our passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings, and flight changes, providing thorough explanations of rules, terms, conditions, regulations, and procedures as needed.
  2. Handle customer inquiries and provide support during flight disruptions or cancellations.
  3. Safeguard confidential information and handle it with discretion.
  4. Address customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating unresolved issues to the Supervisor on duty.
  5. Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service in all interactions.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12 qualification.
  2. Previous experience in airport operations and ticket sales within the aviation industry.
  3. Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, flexible hours, and shifts as required.
  4. Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  5. Strong understanding of delivering exceptional customer service.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including proper phone etiquette.
  7. Ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
