Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and regulate access to and from the FlySafair facility, ensuring only authorized personnel, vehicles, materials, and company assets are permitted entry, movement, and exit.
- Security Enforcement: Assist in removing violators from the premises as needed and engage with relevant stakeholders in case of criminal activity or disturbances.
- Reporting: Report any suspicious incidents or activities promptly to ensure immediate action can be taken.
- Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of all facilities and perimeters to identify potential security risks and ensure a secure environment.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as required to support the security team and facility operations.
- Vehicle and Valuables Searches: Conduct thorough searches of vehicles and valuables entering or leaving the premises.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Certification: Security Certificate with a Grade C (Essential).
- Availability: Must be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Knowledge: Basic security knowledge is essential; aviation knowledge is advantageous.
