Job Description:
Ensure thorough customer service within the store, including loading and merchandising stock, shelf price labeling, and maintaining cleanliness in the designated area.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers, addressing their needs and product queries.
- Handle customer complaints promptly.
- Facilitate add-on sales by suggesting complementary products.
- Ensure efficient loading of customer purchases without delays or damage.
- Provide information on additional services such as delivery, bulk deposits, glass cutting, etc.
- Maintain certification in product knowledge.
Housekeeping:
- Keep the designated area obstacle-free and maintain immediate merchandising of received stock.
- Ensure accurate shelf price labeling.
- Complete checklists during duty, including canteen and toilet/showers schedule.

Safety (OHSA) Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations within the area of responsibility.
- Merchandise stock safely to ensure customer and staff safety.
- Report any safety discrepancies to the store manager.
Ready for Business:

Loss Prevention and Security:
- Identify and report gaps in displays.
- Stay vigilant for suspicious behavior and report concerns to management.
- Verify proof of purchase or required documentation before loading products for customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Grade 12 or one year of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in English and the dominant local language.
- Basic numerical skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure.
