Job Description:
Golden Arrow Bus Services (Pty) is seeking qualified Bus Drivers to join their dynamic team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
Your duties will include operating a heavy vehicle, maintaining a clean driving record, and providing excellent customer service to passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses along designated routes, ensuring passenger safety at all times
- Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting them with boarding and alighting
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus interior and exterior
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of passenger counts, fares collected, and any incidents that occur during the trip
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors
- Follow designated schedules and routes to ensure timely arrival at each stop
Key Skills:
- Valid EC or C licence for operating heavy vehicles
- Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience on a heavy vehicle with an EC or C licence
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record with no traffic fines
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and courteous demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
