Role Overview: As a General Assistant at Nando’s, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with various tasks in the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house duties.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining and kitchen areas.
  • Providing support to team members and contributing to a positive working environment.
  • Assisting with customer orders and ensuring timely service.

  3. Health and Safety:
    • Adhere to health and safety procedures as per Nando’s standards.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  4. Cleanliness and Tidiness:
    • Ensure overall cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen station.
    • Follow sanitation guidelines and maintain hygiene standards.
  5. Opening and Closing Procedures:
    • Perform opening and closing procedures according to laid-down standards.
    • Secure the kitchen and equipment during closing.
  6. Team Support:
    • Fulfill the responsibilities of fellow employees in their absence.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Adaptability:
    • Be flexible and perform any other duties as required from time to time.
    • Adapt to changes in workflow and contribute to a positive work environment.
