Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Farm Workers will be expected to carry out the following duties:

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides in a safe and controlled manner.
Monitor crop growth and report any signs of disease, pest infestations, or nutrient deficiencies.
Harvest crops at the appropriate time to ensure quality and maximum yield.
Sort, clean, and prepare harvested produce for storage or distribution.
Livestock Management
Feed livestock according to established schedules and nutritional requirements.
Ensure animals have access to clean water at all times.
Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or injury.
Assist with breeding programs and basic veterinary care under supervision.
Clean and maintain animal housing areas to ensure hygiene and prevent disease.
Handle animals in a safe and humane manner.
Machinery and Equipment Operation
Operate a variety of agricultural machinery, including tractors, irrigation systems, and harvesting equipment.
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on farm machinery.

Farm Maintenance
Carry out general maintenance and repairs to farm buildings, fences, and infrastructure.

Logistics and Storage
Assist with loading and unloading farm produce, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure proper storage of harvested crops to prevent spoilage or damage.
Maintain accurate records of stock, including inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and animal feed.
Support inventory management processes.
General Duties
Perform any additional tasks as assigned by farm management.

Minimum Requirements
