Job Description:
Join Lactalis SA at our Bonnievale Plant in the Pre-Pack department. Your main responsibilities will include decrating all cheese and loading it onto cheese sanitizers.

You will also be responsible for packaging cheese into plastic bags on the loaf lines. Successful candidates should have at least 2 years of experience within the FMCG environment and must have completed basic dairy training.

Additionally, you must demonstrate sound knowledge of food quality and full adherence to all Safety & Health policies, procedures, and legislation. Fluency in English and computer literacy are also required.

Required Skills:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work 8-hour shifts and handle 20kg blocks of cheese to apply labels on packaging
  • Rotate between different production lines and demonstrate versatility
  • Maintain efficiency and keep up with machine output
  • Dispose of waste in designated areas
  • Report any quality issues promptly
  • Report near misses and safety concerns
  • Reject non-conforming cheese, such as those with mold or poor appearance
  • Ensure product quality meets specifications, and report any deviations promptly.

  1. Physical Strength: Ability to handle heavy loads and move pallets weighing up to 20kg.
  2. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills in English to convey information clearly and interact with team members and supervisors.
