Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified candidate to join our team as an Admin Clerk / Receptionist in the Johannesburg North Region.
In this role, you will be responsible for administering the receiving, capturing, and distribution of samples to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient processing. This is a permanent position based at our Johannesburg North Region facility.

Required Qualification and Experience:
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification.
- Bsc Degree advantageous.
- 0-1 years of relevant working experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems.
- Knowledge of organizational policy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer sorting and distribution of samples according to standard operating procedures.
- Process sample registration and queries in adherence to prescribed protocols.
- Dispatch specimens for processing and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of results.
- Conduct hospital rounds to distribute reports and collect samples as required.
- Handle administrative queries and customer complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Track sample delivery by couriers and investigate any delays or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the working area.
- Monitor stock levels and order additional supplies as needed.
- Represent the organization professionally when interacting with medical professionals and staff.
- Manage the reception area, providing information to clients and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Receive cash payments from patients and ensure accurate banking procedures.
- Prepare and scan patient forms onto the laboratory system.
- Adhere to company dress code and uniform protocols.
