We are currently seeking a General Driver with a Code 14 license to join our team in the Winelands, Fisantekraal, Durbanville area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the operation of company vehicles and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the General Driver include, but are not limited to:
- Operating the company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Servicing all routes assigned to the vehicle efficiently and effectively.
- Performing basic administration duties related to transportation activities.
- Maintaining the vehicle in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Astral policy manual.
- Adhering to the 20 keys principles, with a focus on Health & Safety within the department.

Requirements for the Successful Candidate:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Digger Loader Operator.
- Possession of a valid C14 EC driver’s license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact with individuals at all levels.
- Willingness to assist with day-to-day production tasks as required.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays as necessary.
- Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a diverse working environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Access to own reliable transportation for commuting to and from work.
- Demonstration of sober habits both on and off the job.
