Job Advert Summary:
We are currently seeking six dedicated individuals to fill the roles of Day and Night Cleaners at Rand Water’s Rietvlei site.
The primary responsibility of these positions is to maintain effective cleanliness standards in offices, workshops, plants, ablution facilities, paving areas, and the surrounding building premises.

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum of 1 year relevant cleaning experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic knowledge of stock tracking
Primary Duties:
- Regularly clean ablution and shower facilities, ensuring the provision of necessary amenities.
- Report any damages or misconduct to the building supervisor.
- Sweep paved areas and parking lots, ensuring cleanliness.
- Clean entrances, conference rooms, and service dustbins.
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and as instructed.
- Vacuum offices and open plan areas.
- Assist with furniture moving when required.
- Prepare refuse bags for collection.
- Dust desks, cupboards, and furniture.
- Clean roofs, solar panels, and management parking areas weekly.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of hygiene standards
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental practices
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Basic proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
