Salary : Market Related

REQUIREMENTS:

• National Diploma / Higher Certificate (NQF 6) in Auditing, Accounting, and/or Taxation,
• as well as 2 – 3 years of experience in a tax, audit, or accounting environment. Alternatively
• a Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 5 years of experience in tax, audit, or accounting.

Duties :

• Demonstrate your ability to complete audit and verification cases in accordance with the applicable standards and legislation.
• Show that you understand how to deal with objections.
• Demonstrate your ability to improve the quality of your work.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Under Statement Penalties policy and its application. Demonstrate knowledge of the audit verifications life cycle and expectations.
• Demonstrate your ability to detect and identify fraudulent cases, as well as how to handle them.
• Show that you understand the governance and other ethical requirements that SARS employees must follow while performing their duties.
