REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Survey or Cartography (NQF Level 6).
- Compulsory registration with South African Geomatics Council as a Survey Technician / Surveyor.
- Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification technical (Survey) experience.
- A valid driver’s license
- Job related knowledge:
- Program and project management, survey design and analysis expertise, research and development, computer-aided survey tools, legal compliance understanding, technical report writing, and fostering a culture of high performance are all areas where we excel.

Duties :
- Offer technical assistance and surveying services.
- Offer technical assistance with the inspection, upkeep, archiving, and information supply of survey records, then submit them for review and approval by the appropriate authorities.
- Make surveys and calculations for surveys.
- In accordance with legal and regulatory standards, promote safety.
- To incorporate new technology, evaluate plans, current technical guides, common designs, and processes.
- Offer services for mapping, geographic information systems (GIS), and information delivery.
- carrying out administrative and associated tasks.
- Contribute to the budgeting process, as well as gather and submit reports as needed.
- Contribute to and compile inputs for the operational strategy for the technical survey.
- Create, use, and maintain a database.
- controlling and supervising candidate survey officers, staff, and resources.
- carry out development and research.
- Maintain your professional growth by staying current with technology and practices.
