REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Survey or Cartography (NQF Level 6).
Compulsory registration with South African Geomatics Council as a Survey Technician / Surveyor.
Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification technical (Survey) experience.
A valid driver’s license

Duties :

Offer technical assistance and surveying services.
Offer technical assistance with the inspection, upkeep, archiving, and information supply of survey records, then submit them for review and approval by the appropriate authorities.
Make surveys and calculations for surveys.
In accordance with legal and regulatory standards, promote safety.
To incorporate new technology, evaluate plans, current technical guides, common designs, and processes.
Offer services for mapping, geographic information systems (GIS), and information delivery.
carrying out administrative and associated tasks.
Contribute to the budgeting process, as well as gather and submit reports as needed.
Contribute to and compile inputs for the operational strategy for the technical survey.
Create, use, and maintain a database.
controlling and supervising candidate survey officers, staff, and resources.
carry out development and research.
Maintain your professional growth by staying current with technology and practices.
