Position Overview:

Purpose Statement:
- Welcome clients and manage the branch flow efficiently.
- Ensure smooth functioning of queues and provide excellent client service.
- Assist clients with ATM transactions and other self-service banking channels.
- Gain knowledge and experience in service consulting and banking operations.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: No experience required, but a Grade 12 National Certificate is mandatory.
- Ideal Experience: Some client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
Educational Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
- Ideal/Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum Knowledge:
- Basic calculations.
- Effective engagement with people.
- Clear understanding of personal aspirations and a willingness to learn.
- Ideal Knowledge:
- Understanding of bank branch environments.
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank products and business processes (internal).
- Key Skills:
- Communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Must have detectable and recognisable fingerprints on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
