REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 and diploma in Information Technology or relevant NQF 6 qualification.
2 years’ experience in an information technology environment.
a track record of delivering user and IT support.
Excellent problem-solving and diagnosis. components of hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
Microsoft desktop software and operating systems.
Active Director, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows Server.

transverse structures. Interpersonal skills, effective communication, critical thinking, advanced computer literacy, and assistance for IT technicians.

Duties :

Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and programs.
Configure workstations and peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.).
Ensure the networks’ and computers’ privacy and security.
Support for LAN, software, and hardware Install and configure LAN and WAN equipment, as well as Wi-Fi access points, to create a stable and dependable network environment.
Research specifications for new hardware and software, offer advise, and suggest best practices.
Install the most recent software, drivers, patches, service packs, and BIOS updates for various computer models as part of routine preventative maintenance.
Install and set up computer add-ons including tablets, printers, scanners, routers and LTE modems.
Attend to every call that Department users (in the Pretoria and Cape Town offices) have logged.
