Qualifications and Experience :

• National Senior Certificate (Matric/Grade 12) with good results in Mathematics, Physical Science and Technical Drawings.
• Alternatively, an N2 or N3 technical certificate with supporting language subjects at Grade 12 level with Mathematics, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Trade Theory and Engineering Science as subjects.

Responsibilities (to mention a few) :

The successful candidate will work under supervision and will be expected to perform the following duties:

• help with mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems.
• aid in the installation of electrical systems.
• Read, comprehend, and implement the requirements of electrical codes, schematics, and designs.
• Conduct continuity, current, voltage, and resistance tests on electrical components and equipment.
• Install, fix, or replace electrical controllers, transformers, starters, relays, and AC/DC motors and drives.
• Electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lights, and alternative electrical parts should be installed, repaired, or replaced.
• Perform testing and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including the hardware used for power delivery.
• Install panels, conduit, safety equipment, and switches in addition to electrical lines.
• Where inappropriate uses might hurt users or create hazardous circumstances, equipment controls should have the proper connections and wiring.
• obeys safety regulations and industry requirements, as well as the safety manual.
