Job Title: Merchandiser

Locations:

  1. Eerste River, Cape Town

Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 9 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week
Salary: To Be Confirmed (TBC) Cost to company

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Merchandiser
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams

Responsibilities:

  • Count and determine stock for merchandising, documenting details
  • Unpack and document received stock
  • Organize and display products attractively for customer appeal
  • Maintain accurate records of stock usage and monitor levels
  • Change displays to align with promotions or inventory
  • Adhere to display rules and plans
  • Utilize creative ideas to capture customer attention
  • Create special displays for seasons or promotions
  • Check product quality and report damages
  • Fill and track shelves, ensuring old or damaged products are replaced
  • Plan product quantities and collaborate with various teams
  • Use creativity, including colors, lights, props, and decorations, for appealing displays
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and organization in the store and storage areas
  • Ensure accuracy of product indicator labels and price stickers
  • Provide advice to customers on product usage and handle feedback, complaints, queries, and requests

Job Title: Customer Assistant – (Multi-Skilled role)

Location: Thohoyandou-J, Thohoyandou – Thavhani Mall

Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 7 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week
Salary: To Be Confirmed (TBC) Cost to company

Requirements:

  • Experience as a General Assistant
  • English proficiency
  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level
  • Computer literacy
  • Able to work different shifts
  • Previous experience in the Retail or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry, specifically in a stockroom or receiving environment is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Greet, smile, and acknowledge customers
  • Display a helpful and friendly attitude when interacting with customers
  • Receive and dispatch accurately, handling rejection claims
  • Understand receiving policies and follow hot and cold procedures
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in sales and back areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) in receiving processes
  • Report dishonesty-related incidents to management
  • Apply red flags and all policies applicable to receiving
  • Exhibit self-discipline in terms of attendance, dress code, hygiene, and time-keeping

Job Title: PEP Part-Time Sales Assistant

Location: Tsolo, Eastern Cape, Elim, Mbombela

Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: As Needed, TBC per week

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Sales Assistant or Cashier
  • Proficient in English
  • Computer Literacy
  • Passion for retail and commitment to providing excellent customer experiences

Responsibilities:

  • Minimize stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture and following security measures
  • Manage a low-cost business according to the company’s culture
  • Handle cash at the register following company policies
  • Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards
  • Increase sales through exceptional customer service, maintaining store standards, stock management, and correct pricing
  • Work dynamically in a team to achieve business goals
