Company Overview:
Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, seeks a Line Warehouse Controller based at King Shaka International Airport. The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Warehouse.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage spares movements between Durban and other stations, ensuring timely data capture on the stock management system for accurate information.
2. Organize binning of received parts into respective areas and conduct weekly cycle counts.
3. Maintain accurate records and filing of all documentation related to spares movements.
4. Update the stock system to reflect spares movements and route parts to outstations, hangars, and airports as required.
5. Prepare documentation for shipping and package items according to Work Instructions.
6. Update spares requisition system upon receipt or dispatch of parts.
7. Ensure daily housekeeping of the warehouse and control access to the facility.
8. Monitor and manage BRN’s (Back-Ordered Requisitions) for all spares on the line.
9. Assist with loading and offloading of spares on aircraft and attend to queries on spares in the station.
10. Perform general warehouse duties as requested by the supervisor and carry out ad-hoc tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift license advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
