JOB INTRODUCTION:
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading provider of integrated cash management solutions, is seeking a Driver based at our operations in Rustenburg. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Driver will be responsible for engaging in the guarding and handling of all valuables in transit between various areas and driving a vehicle in the performance of all duties.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Valid PSIRA Certification
- Valid PDP License
- CIT Certificate
- Valid SAPS Firearm Competency with Business Purposes
- Ability to work under pressure and in a high-risk, fast-paced environment
- Ability to assess risk and act swiftly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Adherence to policies and procedures
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
- Engage in the guarding and handling of all valuables in transit
- Maintain vehicle standards and comply with company equipment and vehicle procedures
- Receive and sign for all equipment and ensure it is in working order
- Conduct vehicle audit and complete checklist
- Drive vehicle responsibly and record accidents and incidents
- Perform control function of scheduled trips
- Comply with vehicle operating instructions
- Report all incidents to the branch and relevant authorities
- Comply with company codes and take precautions to protect crew and load
- Carry out operational security drills and maintain security awareness and vigilance
- Take preventative action if any suspicious activity is noticed
- Participate in safety forums and report all safety incidents
- Attend safety education and refresher programmes
- Wear protective clothing at all times
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and authorities
- Ability to work under pressure and in a high-risk environment
- Quick decision-making and risk assessment abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing documentation and reports
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads

In compliance with legal regulations, candidates will be required to submit a valid medical certificate confirming their fitness to carry and utilize a firearm before their employment can commence. The medical certificate should not be older than 3 months prior to the date of engagement.
