As a cleaner at Komatsu Sishen, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Remain up to date with health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Implement the Komatsu Way 5S principles: sorting, organizing, cleaning, ordering, and training to promote efficiency and cleanliness.
- Adhere to SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) policies and procedures at all times.
- Instruct colleagues and subordinates on the proper wearing of protective gear and clothing.
- Participate in workplace safety events and initiatives.
- Stay informed about emergency first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and evacuation procedures.
- Operate company vehicles (trucks, cars, forklifts) in accordance with safety standards and procedures, even when not supervised.
- Promote safety awareness in all activities and report any hazardous situations, incidents, or accidents promptly.
- Report equipment that is not in good working order to the relevant authorities.
- Provide detailed reports on vehicle usage and any incidents that may occur.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean yards, platforms, carports, garages, toilets, and/or offices using appropriate cleaning tools and materials such as dusters, brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
- Water plants and ensure their well-being.
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas.
- Serve tea, coffee, or refreshments as required and run errands for the purchase of small or sundry items if necessary.
- Monitor stock levels in the kitchen and initiate orders for replenishment of cleaning materials and refreshments in coordination with the manager.
- Report any problems or issues to the manager immediately, such as blocked drains, toilets not flushing, or broken tiles.
