About the Position
The Sales Promoter/Merchandiser will be responsible for promoting the company’s products in retail stores and ensuring that stock is properly merchandised and presented to customers.
The successful candidates will play an important role in increasing product visibility, engaging customers and supporting sales within assigned retail outlets.
This is a customer-facing position, therefore applicants should be confident, presentable and comfortable speaking with different types of customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful Sales Promoter/Merchandiser will be responsible for carrying out a range of merchandising and promotional activities, including:
Merchandising company stock in retail stores.
Ensuring products are properly displayed and easy for customers to see.
Promoting company products to customers in stores.
Engaging customers and providing information about products.
Creating awareness of promoted products.
Assisting customers with product-related questions.
Maintaining attractive and organised product displays.
Checking stock levels and reporting shortages where necessary.
Ensuring products are correctly positioned according to merchandising requirements.
Supporting promotional activities within retail stores.
Encouraging customers to consider and purchase promoted products.
Building positive relationships with customers and store personnel.
Maintaining a professional and presentable appearance while representing the company.
Performing other reasonable sales and merchandising duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have at least:
BGCSE or equivalent qualification.
Candidates should also have the communication and interpersonal skills required to work directly with customers in a retail environment.

Experience Required
Previous FMCG sales promoter or merchandiser experience in a retail store is required.
Applicants with practical experience promoting fast-moving consumer goods, maintaining product displays and interacting with customers in retail environments are encouraged to apply.
Experience in an FMCG retail environment will be important because the successful candidates will be expected to understand the demands of working in stores and promoting products directly to customers.
