Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Security Operations: Participate in security operations, including patrols, access control, and incident response.
  2. Learning and Development: Engage in structured learning activities to gain knowledge and skills relevant to the security industry.
  3. Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing security operations.
  4. Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  5. Emergency Response: Act promptly and effectively in response to emergencies, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and assets.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports of security incidents, activities, and observations.
  7. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve security objectives and maintain a cohesive team environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed Matric
  • Grade C PSIRA registration (mandatory)
  • Must be proactive and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must reside in the specified areas
  • Must be under 29 years of age (for most locations, except Tongaat where the age limit is under 28)
  • Interest in the security industry
