As a Shop Assistant at Signature Cosmetics, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, vibrant, and personalized experience for customers while driving sales and ensuring the store operates efficiently.

You will support the team in meeting sales targets, maintaining stock levels, ensuring proper merchandising, and upholding store standards.

The role also involves handling customer inquiries, promoting products, and ensuring a seamless in-store shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized experience for all customers.
Drive sales and motivate the team to meet sales targets.
Maintain high visual merchandising standards to enhance store appeal.
Keep the sales floor clean, tidy, and fully stocked.
Manage stock levels, minimize stock losses, and control shrinkage.
Ensure products are priced correctly with appropriate signage.
Conduct stock takes, investigate variances, and report shortages to the Area Manager.
Adhere to point of sale and banking procedures and report concerns to the Area Manager.
Follow all store standards, operations policies, and procedures.

Efficiently execute all operational activities in the store.

Requirements:

Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent certificate.
Passion for cosmetics, retail, and customer service.

Knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
Strong customer service orientation and work ethic.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs.

Basic skills in email and Excel.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to handle pressure while remaining calm and pleasant.

Physical ability to stand for long periods.
Skill in demonstrating and promoting products.
Ability to create excitement in-store to motivate the team and engage customers.
