Job Objectives:
- Execute all operational activities at the point of sale efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy during merchandise scanning and payment collection, including clubcard rewards processing.
- Safely handle cash transactions in adherence to security protocols.
- Proactively promote Clicks’ clubcard and enroll new members to meet participation targets.
- Inform customers about promotions to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Act as a brand ambassador by delivering superior customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain store merchandising and housekeeping standards according to company guidelines.
- Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying company values.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Knowledge:
- Basic mathematics calculations.
- Retail/FMCG background with an understanding of merchandising and promotional principles.
- Familiarity with stock management procedures.
- Knowledge of customer service excellence.
Skills:
- Effective planning and organizing abilities.

- Computer literacy, including POS systems.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- Desirable: Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a retail/FMCG store environment.
Education:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Desirable: Maths and English at 50% or above at Grade 12 level.
