Duties & Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually for work each day, ready to fulfill assigned duties.
- Execute daily delivery schedules, ensuring items are delivered promptly and accurately.
- Collect goods and reports as required on a daily basis.
- Operate the company vehicle in compliance with the road safety regulations of South Africa.
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle’s roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate mileage records in the logbook for each trip undertaken.
- Submit monthly petrol slips for reimbursement purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during deliveries and pickups.
- Willingness to assist with additional duties as needed, even if they fall outside the scope of regular responsibilities.
Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Proficiency in recording and updating data accurately.
- Demonstrated skill in safe and efficient driving practices.
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- PDP License (preferred but not required).
