Requirements:
- a finished diploma or degree in purchasing, supply chain management, or an equivalent field from a recognized institution, such as a university
- sound knowledge of the laws, rules, and procedures that are in effect where you are, as well as the legal standards and codes
- SAP and MS Office computer skills are strong.
- Excellent Verbal and Written English Comprehension and Communication Skills
- Strong analytical and risk-taking abilities
- Outstanding time management abilities and the capacity to independently create one’s own job requirements
- Ability to Function Well Within a Team
Duties:
- Inform the organization on local import and export laws and customs.
- accountable for managing and reporting customs- and freight-processing operations.
- Measure and enhance the performance of freight forwarders.
- Auditing of Freight Bills and Freight Forwarder Records.
- participation in the annual freight procurement process.
- accountable for handling, managing, and completing claims.
- In charge of coordinating the prompt arrival of all incoming freight, including air and sea freight.
- liaison with regional and international service providers, local customs officials, and other pertinent parties.
