Job Title: Cashier
Location: Bothasig, Western Cape
Commencement Date: Immediate
Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
Work Schedule: 6 shifts per week
Monthly Salary: Estimated at R5,500.00
Requirements:
- Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or equivalent
- Cashier experience
- Proficiency in English
Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders, both over the counter and via phone.
- Process orders on the cash register/computer.
- Recommend menu items and specials to customers.
- Address customer complaints and queries, escalating issues to the manager when necessary.
- Manage telephonic orders, ensuring prompt response within 3 rings.
- Handle various payment methods (cash, debit card, credit card).
- Maintain cleanliness in the front of the house throughout the shift.
- Conduct stock control for the shift, specifically for the cold drink fridge (display appropriate items).
- Receive a float from the manager and handle necessary actions.
- Ensure and uphold cleanliness standards.
