The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the availability of sufficient stock in alignment with the production schedule.
You will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations and supporting the production team to meet its objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent level of literacy and numeracy.
Required Experience:
- Experience: At least 3 months of previous experience working in a production environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic Numeracy: Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and keep accurate records.
- Honesty and Integrity: Maintain a high level of trustworthiness and ethical standards in all duties.
- Production Processes Knowledge: Familiarity with production operations and procedures.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
- Health and Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to health and safety rules and regulations in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Availability:
- Ensure that all necessary resources are available and prepared according to the production requirements, ensuring no delays in the production line.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Promptly report any mechanical or electrical issues to the Control Room or Supervisor that might affect the plant’s operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
- Data Recording:
- Accurately record all necessary data for production analysis, such as maintaining tipping logs, to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Production Support:
- Address manual production bottlenecks by quickly responding to issues such as clearing blocked elevators and other equipment obstructions to maintain smooth workflow.
- Material Monitoring:
- Conduct regular visual checks to ensure the availability of raw materials and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Control Room or Supervisor immediately.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere strictly to all work instructions and procedures, ensuring compliance with Feed Safety Standards and Procedures, as well as Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards and Procedures.
- Task Execution:
- Perform any additional tasks as requested by the Control Room or Supervisor, contributing to team objectives and workplace harmony.
- Inventory Management:
- Carry out daily stock-take duties to ensure accurate inventory levels, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
