Qualifications and Experience :

  • Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or equivalent
  • A Qualification in Office Management (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Friendly demeanor and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Working experience with Accounting Software an advantage
  • Working experience with Passport 360 an advantage
  • Reliability and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities (to mention a few) :

  • Prepare and consolidate timesheets on a weekly and Monthly basis.
  • Record keeping, filing, capture and update of records to ensure that information is accurate and accessible.
  • Responsible for the ordering of stationary; PPE clothing and other office related requirements.
  • Process invoices to from sign off cards to submission to finance.
  • Track tasks: Machine hours and breakdowns information
  • Purchase order submission and authorisation.
  • Conduct Medical and induction bookings
  • Respond to administrative queries and routine requests for information to ensure the provision of accurate information
  • Perform any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and standards at the workplace.

Job Title : Excavator Operator

Responsible for operating a mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Operates a  excavator,  that is used exclusively for the transportation, moving or loading of material with a gross mass or gross combination mass exceeding 15 000kg.  Works under supervision where decisions are clearly defined.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in a mining environment
  • Understand the requirements of the Mines; Health and Safety Act as they relate to mobile equipment and working environment.
  • Medically fit
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Must pass relevant Dover Assessment
  • Valid Licence for the assigned equipment

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Operating Machine and other mechanical equipment
    1. Ensure own permits and license are up to date and relevant for the equipment assigned to operate.
    2. Carry out all legal instructions given by the Supervisor.
    3. Understand and follow directions from Supervisors as to required work area.
    4. Carry out Load and Haul in compliance with Safety Regulations.
    5. Operate the machine in a safe and applicable manner.
    6. Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
    7. Intervene promptly in emergencies.
    8. Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the floor.
    9. Do pre-start checks and post shift checks according to the procedures on the equipment assigned to operate.
    10. Promptly report all defects and damages on the equipment to the Supervisor.
    11. Always make use of Company PPE (e.g. sunglasses).
    12. Complete timesheets daily and submit to Shift Supervisor.
  2. SHE
    1. Attend daily safety briefing meetings as scheduled by the Client and at times by the Shift Supervisor.
    2. Be Familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by the Company.
    3. Promptly report all accidents, safety deviations, nonconformance and transgressions at the workplace using prescribed channels.
    4. Be conversant with Company policies; procedures and the Code of Good Conduct.
