Komatsu has an opportunity for a technically minded individual with a passion for heavy earthmoving equipment to assist the artisan with general functions at our Namakwa Sands Branch in the the Western Cape

Qualifications and Experience :

• 1. Grade 12 with technical subjects, or N3
• 2. 6 months general workshop, technical environment experience
• 3. Basic knowledge of workshop tools
• 4. Ability to read, write and speak English
• 5. Valid drivers’ license (code 8) an advantage
• 6. Other certifications an advantage (forklift, crane, welding) but not required
• 7. Must reside in the local community

BUSINESS PROCESSES:

• 1. SHE
• 2. Machine/component assembly and disassembly
• 3. Component/ machine cleaning
• 4. Basic maintenance and housekeeping
• 5. Drives Komatsu service vehicle
• 6. Komatsu machine operation
