As a Forklift Driver at our Germiston Distribution Centre, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of materials and adherence to quality standards within our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts according to specified guidelines.
- Transfer non-conforming products from quarantine areas based on supervisor directives.
- Check blue pallets for damages before engaging with forklift hooks.
- Maintain adherence to factory Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Familiarize yourself with all Business Procedures, Policies, and Standards relevant to your role.
- Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Perform daily stock counts and effectively manage materials.
- Utilize basic arithmetic skills for tasks requiring calculations.
- Comply with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the MDWT (Make a Difference With Technology) programme.
- Apply Problem-Solving techniques (e.g., 5-WHY) to address issues within your area.
- Contribute to Excellence Awards and Innovations initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required to support operational needs.

Qualifications:
- Senior Certificate or Equivalent Qualification.
- Valid Forklift License.
- Experience with HACCP, ISO 9001, and/or food environment practices is advantageous.
