Job Introduction:
As a Shelfpacker, you’ll play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that shelves and bins are stocked according to established standards. Your primary responsibilities will include packing shelves and bins, assisting customers with product inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the warehouse and on the sales floor. If you have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Shelfpacker positions are available in various locations across the Eastern Cape and Western Cape regions, including:
Eastern Cape:
- Mthatha x2
- Penford x3
- Summerstrand
- Cleary Park
Western Cape:
- Garden Route Mall x2
- George x2
- Langeberg Mall x3

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10 is essential (Grade 12 advantageous).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Customer-minded with the ability to see situations through the eyes of the customer and respond positively.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening attentively and responding appropriately.
- Display a sense of urgency in completing tasks.
- Perform routine tasks at a constant high standard.
- Develop yourself by constantly looking for opportunities to improve/grow.
- Willingness to be flexible and multi-skilled.
- Able to work shifts to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack shelves and bins according to laid-down standards.
- Listen to customers’ requests and provide the required products or service.
- Advise customers on products.
- Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and cleanliness standards within the warehouse and on the floor.
- Unpack, stack, and store stock in the warehouse in tidy and safe ways with minimal damages according to the correct layout when necessary.
- Work in cold conditions.
Skills Required:

- Strong customer service skills, including active listening and clear verbal communication.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and fulfill customer needs.
- Sense of urgency and commitment to completing tasks promptly.
