  4. Facilitating sales and promoting additional products and services at the point of sale.
  5. Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures for opening and closing procedures.
  6. Maintaining merchandising and housekeeping standards at the cashier station.
  7. Operating cash registers and processing payments accurately.
  8. Handling returned goods and informing managers for appropriate action.
  9. Implementing and maintaining advertised sales promotions at the point of sale.
  10. Ensuring correct pricing and display of items at the cashier station.
  11. Participating in stock takes and counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  12. Minimizing stock loss and controlling expenses in the assigned area.
  13. Maximizing sales opportunities across all product categories.
  14. Safeguarding company assets within the assigned area.

Entry Requirements:

  1. Matric/ Grade 12/ NQF level 4 or 5 certificate or relevant
  2. Minimum of 6 months retail experience
  3. Own or reliable transport to accommodate shift work
