Lindsay Saker Midrand has an exciting opportunity for a Driver: Light Duty to join our team. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role requires an individual who will be responsible for executing driving duties and assisting with various tasks as required.

Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles to ensure they are defect-free and properly locked.
- Inspect vehicles for damages and ensure they are roadworthy.
- Report all accidents and traffic offenses promptly.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department.
- Assist with translation services when required.
- Inspect new vehicles for any damages, defects, or missing components and report findings to the Manager.
- Ensure all vehicles are securely locked and keys are stored safely.
- Start vehicles regularly to maintain battery health.
- Be available for overtime work and night shifts from 20:00 to 05:00 when needed.
- Provide driver training to drivers or customers upon handover of new vehicles.
- Complete all necessary reports related to driver training sessions.
- Transport vehicles between dealership, suppliers, and customers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Driver trainer qualification from an OEM or similar would be advantageous.
- Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
