REQUIREMENTS:
- A Senior / Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics / Mathematic Literacy as a passed subject.
- Computer literacy.
- Basic knowledge in handling one of the following: carpentry, mechanical, construction workshop tools and machines.
- Basic understanding of government legislations, Occupational Health, and Safety Act.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Good communication skills both (verbal and written).
- Good organizational skills.
- Willing to acquire new skills.
Duties :
- Move construction supplies throughout the lab.
- Assist engineers, technicians, and craftspeople in creating and testing model dams. general mortar mixing skills.
- assist in the mechanical and carpentry workshops.
- accountable for the lab’s basic upkeep and cleaning. aid in destroying tried-and-true model dams.
- complete monthly report on output.
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety guidelines, and be sure you utilize protective gear as directed.
