Job Description:

Execute cash transactions and other associated tasks: Throughout the day, balance, regulate, and manage the cash float by determining how much cash is on hand at the teller station and requesting replenishment or repatriation of cash when predetermined cash limitations are reached. Distribute and accept actual cash, checks, travelers’ checks, drafts, and other financial instruments from walk-in clients over the counter. After verifying identity, account information, and other required procedures, process and cash checks that consumers have submitted for deposit or pay-out. Before completing the transaction or dispensing the cash, be alert for fraudulent or suspicious activity and alert the team leader or branch manager to any issues. The 2 ID Buddy requires compliance with regulations, particularly while handling checks, cash, IDs, and other items to avoid fraud.

Send mandated officials and/or line managers any transactions that exceed the teller mandate limitations so they may be authorized.
