Join the Safair Operations family as a Call Centre Agent and be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service. Based at our head office in Bonaero Park, Kempton Park, Gauteng, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth communication between the airline and its valued customers. Reporting to the Assistant Manager: Customer Care Centre, you will navigate through dynamic challenges, addressing customer concerns, and providing information on various processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and manage incoming calls from customers and passengers.
  • Address and resolve issues such as delays, cancellations, and other travel-related matters.
  • Explain processes to customers, offering assistance where necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and be prepared for flexible hours, including shift work.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
  • One (1) to four (4) years of experience in a Call Centre Environment.
  • Travel or relevant qualification will be advantageous.
  • Proficient communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Clean criminal and credit record.
  • Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours.
  • Own transport would be advantageous.

Shifts:

  • 07:00 – 16:00
  • 08:00 – 17:00
  • 09:00 – 18:00
  • 10:00 – 19:00
    (Includes weekends and public holidays)
