Qualifications:
- An ABET certificate or relevant qualification.
- Cleaning experience will serve as an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning principles.
- Basic knowledge of chemical use e.g. dilution/mixing.
- Understanding of cleaning equipment used.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of record keeping
- Basic understanding and applying of laboratory safety rules.
- Basic understanding of applying or using chemicals correctly.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations.

DUTIES:
- clean lab and equipments.
- Remove all lab waste in accordance with protocols.
- Clean plastic and glass objects as directed.
- Remove the gas cylinders and connect them.
- To ensure the traceability of laboratory activities, fill out the necessary paperwork.
- cleaning supplies inventory taking.
- requesting cleaning supplies as required.
- Clean the kitchen, offices, boardrooms, hallways, and any other space that has been designated for cleaning.
- cleaning out trash cans.
- Prepare meeting spaces in boardrooms.
- Set out the cutlery, utensils, and dishes that will be needed during meetings.
- Crockery, utensils, and cutlery should be washed and kept on hand.
- Refill water bottles as necessary.
- pristine restrooms.
- Restock the hand soap and toilet paper.
- Disclose any broken machinery or equipment.
