Sprint Couriers is looking for reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Drivers to join its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers who are committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering high-quality service.

About the Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting parcels and cargo safely and efficiently across designated routes. The role requires individuals who can work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Drivers must be willing to travel long distances, including working night shifts when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of consignments
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport documentation
• Load and offload cargo safely and correctly
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Report any vehicle faults or defects promptly
• Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy at all times
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
• Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company procedures
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by supervisors

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience driving heavy-duty vehicles
• Valid EC Driver’s License
• Valid PRDP – Goods (Professional Driving Permit)
• Good knowledge of routes and road safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

This role involves long-distance driving and may require night shifts, weekends, and public holiday work depending on operational needs. Candidates must be physically fit and able to handle loading and offloading of cargo where required.
