About the Learnership ProgrammeThis Artisan Maintenance Learnership Programme is designed to provide unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical workplace experience.
The programme combines structured institutional learning with hands-on training, allowing participants to build valuable technical skills in high-demand trades.The learnership will run for a period of 36 months and is aligned with national skills development standards.
Learners will receive training and exposure that prepares them for future employment opportunities within the technical and engineering sectors.

Each discipline is designed to equip learners with specialized skills required to perform maintenance and operational tasks within industrial environments.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this learnership, applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
Option 1: Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NSC)Minimum of 6 subjects passed Mathematics or Technical Mathematics English Physical Science or Technical Science
Option 2: N3 National Certificate Mathematics English Engineering Science Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in engineering and technical fields, along with a willingness to learn and grow within a structured training environment.
Key Responsibilities and Core Elements Selected candidates will be required to actively participate in all aspects of the learnership programme.
This includes both theoretical coursework and practical workplace training. Responsibilities include:Attending and completing all institutional training sessions as scheduled
