Minimum Requirements:
Qualification:
- Grade 12
- Relevant job-specific training
- Driver’s license categories: CE – G, CE – PG, and C – G
- A valid Public Services Driving License (PG)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar or related position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Unitrans Passenger rules, regulations, and the driver’s manual.
- Report near misses, incidents, and property damage.
- Practice safe driving habits and report any incidents to management.
- Inspect the bus for deviations or malfunctions and record them in the checklist.
- Follow WSWPs procedures and participate in training and DSS sessions.
- Register passengers and ensure the vehicle is refueled and clean.
- Adhere to traffic laws, speed limits, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate log books and report all events/incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain a positive attitude towards customers and follow authorized routes.
- Ensure the vehicle’s conservation, proper use, and report any damage.
- Comply with collection times and avoid unauthorized stops.
