REQUIREMENTS:
- A NQF 4/Grade 12 qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in reception and customer service is required.
- Understanding of security policies and procedures.
- Computer literacy is required, as is the ability to work under pressure in the reception area.
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal relations, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Capability to spread Batho Pele principles.
- Ability to work both independently and in groups.
Duties :
- The successful applicant will be in charge of welcoming, identifying, and directing guests and arranging for escort; verifying the identity of incoming visitors; issuing visitor cards; maintaining visitor logs and related documents; recording incoming and outgoing mail; and compiling visitor statistics.
- The successful applicant will also be in charge of making sure that all security equipment at reception is operational and reporting any issues to the maintenance unit or Chief Security Officer; and directing guests to pertinent information.
